Gonkju Central Methodist Church

Another example of the potential and versatility of X12CLA

The installation at Gonkju Central Methodist Church in South Korea is another example of the potential and versatility of the type of applications that the X12CLA constant curvature array can fulfil.

This time a self-powered stereo configuration was chosen, with three X12CLA systems flown with a X18T subwoofer, four meters above the ground, as the main PA; both solutions from the Xcellence seriesThis setup of three X12CLA systems provides a 45º vertical angulation and it opens 100º in horizontal, offering a wide and complete coverage throughout the church.

For delay reinforcement, JK26 passive systems from the Joker series have been installed, with HD amplifiers and a DSP206 processor. KEY12A KEY series cabinets are used for stage monitoring.

This installation combines different products and series – XcellenceJoker and Key – from Amate Audio active and passive systems, processing and amplification. All comprising a complete integrated system solution that provides exceptional levels of clarity and performance. It is a solution based on Amate Audio’s heritage, of more than 44 years designing and manufacturing advanced sound systems.

Systems employed:

1+1 X12CLA line array systems

1+1 X18T subwoofers

4 JK26 point source systems

KEY12A point source systems

HD1200 amplifiers
